So what am I doing, anyway?

I’ve been quite a foodie for a few years now, and I really enjoy reading recipes and cookbooks and food blogs. I enjoy it a little too much, in fact. I find myself reading food blogs intended for people with giant, extensively equipped kitchens, Le Creuset cookware, and every possible kind of grocery store – international, organic, fusion, you name it – possible.
The catch is this: I don’t even have a kitchen, so don’t even think about fancy dishes and magical gadgets. I have a portable electric coil stove, a trusty skillet, a small kadai, a rice cooker, a microwave and a .5L water heater. I live in India, so no fancy schmancy grocery stores. Oh, and I’m vegetarian. And I like eating things other than sambar and palak paneer (Indian food, for those of you who aren’t sure).
So where are the food blogs for foodies like me? I’m sure they’re there, but to tell you the truth, I can’t say I’ve come across a whole lot of them. So I’m here to fill the gap (read: try to fill the gap). Wish me luck in my endeavor, and please feel free to contribute (heaven knows I’ll need all the help I can get).
